At a time in my life when after many years of marriage I became divorced and began a new life, with many questions and challenges, I found in a file drawer of the office of my new job, a quote that gave me courage. No author was given credit for it, and since then, I’ve seen the quote or variations of it, attributed to various people.
My favorite, and the one that still en-courages and supports me, and hangs on my home office wall, is the original one. I wouldn’t mind if you adopted it too, or let it adopt you.
“When you’ve come to the edge of all the light you know and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown, FAITH is knowing one of two things will happen. There will be something solid to stand on or you will learn how to fly.”
